FAQ

1.What gas metering products does Apexmetertech offer?

Apexmetertech provides gas metering and flow-measurement solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications. The portfolio includes diaphragm gas meters, ultrasonic gas meters, rotary gas meters, turbine gas meters and industrial ultrasonic gas flow meters. Selected projects can also be integrated with volume correction, prepaid control, remote data acquisition and gas-management platforms. Product availability and functions should be confirmed by model and destination market.

2. How do I choose between a diaphragm, rotary, turbine and ultrasonic gas meter?

The correct technology depends on the application. Diaphragm meters are widely used for residential and light-commercial billing. Rotary meters are suitable for many commercial and industrial applications requiring stable volumetric measurement across a broad operating range. Turbine meters are commonly selected for higher and relatively steady flow rates. Ultrasonic meters offer electronic measurement, low pressure loss and smart-data capabilities in suitable applications. Final selection should be based on gas type, minimum and maximum flow, operating pressure, temperature, pipe size, accuracy requirement, installation conditions and local metrological rules.

3. Can your gas meters support smart, prepaid and remote-reading functions?

Yes, selected product configurations can support functions such as valve control, prepaid management, pulse output, RS485 communication, NB-IoT connectivity and remote data collection. Available functions vary by meter family, model and software configuration. Before ordering, please specify the local network operator, communication protocol, data platform, power-supply requirements, valve logic and cybersecurity or data-interface requirements so that compatibility can be reviewed.

4. What pressure regulation and filtration solutions are available?

The product range includes gas pressure regulators, natural-gas filters, pressure-regulating cabinets and pressure regulating and metering stations. A complete solution may combine filtration, pressure reduction, overpressure protection, shut-off devices, metering and monitoring. Engineering selection requires the inlet-pressure range, required outlet pressure, maximum and minimum flow, gas composition, pipe connection, ambient conditions, safety philosophy and applicable local codes. Custom skid arrangements can be discussed after the technical requirements are confirmed.

5. Do you provide gas detection and alarm systems?

Apexmetertech offers residential gas alarms as well as industrial and commercial combustible-gas detectors, alarm controllers and related monitoring terminals. Industrial systems may be connected to controllers, shut-off valves or RTU/SCADA platforms when the selected configuration supports these functions. Residential and industrial products have different intended uses and compliance requirements, so buyers should confirm the target gas, measuring range, installation environment, hazardous-area classification, alarm outputs, controller capacity and required certification for each model.

6. Can Apexmetertech supply gas-meter production and testing equipment?

Yes. The available scope includes automatic or semi-automatic gas-meter production equipment and test systems, such as assembly equipment, leak-testing equipment, running-in test benches and sonic-nozzle gas-flow test benches. Solutions can be configured around the meter type, flow range, number of test positions, reference method, automation level, data traceability and factory layout. A detailed technical discussion is required before a production-line or laboratory proposal can be prepared.

7. What certificates and quality documents can be provided?

Certification is product- and model-specific. Depending on the product family and target market, available documentation may include type-examination certificates, OIML-related certificates, EU or explosion-protection documentation, factory test reports, calibration records, drawings and quality documents. Buyers should request the exact certificate number, issuing body, approved model range and scope before relying on any compliance statement. A company-level certificate or laboratory capability should not be treated as automatic approval for every product.

8. What information should I provide to receive an accurate quotation?

Please provide the product type, measured gas, minimum and maximum flow rate, inlet and outlet pressure, operating temperature, nominal pipe size and connection, required accuracy, communication method, power supply, installation environment, applicable standards or certificates, required quantity and destination country. For detection systems, also provide the target gas, measuring range, alarm outputs and controller requirements. For production or test equipment, include the meter models, capacity target, test method, automation level and available factory utilities. Complete application data helps us recommend an appropriate configuration and avoid unnecessary cost or technical risk.
